1. Prepare the wall

Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Fill any cracks or holes and lightly sand if needed. Remove old wallpaper and dust.

2. Mark a starting line

Use a spirit level to draw a straight vertical line where your first strip will go—this keeps everything aligned.

3. Apply paste to the wall

Use a roller or brush to apply an even coat of wallpaper paste to the wall, slightly wider than one strip.

4. Hang the first strip

Place the dry wallpaper directly onto the pasted wall, aligning it with your guideline. Start from the top and work down.

5. Smooth it out

Use a wallpaper brush or smoother to remove air bubbles, working from the center outward.

6. Trim excess

Trim the top and bottom with a sharp knife for a clean finish.

7. Repeat for next strips

Butt the edges together (don’t overlap) and match the pattern if needed.

8. Clean up

Wipe off any excess paste with a damp sponge before it dries.

Tip: Non-woven wallpaper is more forgiving—if needed, you can gently peel it back and reposition during installation.
