1. Prepare the surface

Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove old wallpaper, fill any cracks, and lightly sand if needed.

2. Mark a guideline

Draw a straight vertical line using a spirit level to keep your first strip perfectly aligned.

3. Apply adhesive to the wall

Using a roller or brush, apply an even coat of suitable wallpaper paste directly onto the wall, covering slightly more than the width of one strip.

4. Hang the wallpaper

Position the dry vinyl wallpaper onto the pasted wall, starting at the top and working down. Align with your guideline.

5. Smooth the surface

Use a wallpaper brush or plastic smoother to remove air bubbles, working from the centre outward.

6. Trim excess material

Trim neatly at the ceiling and skirting using a sharp knife.

7. Join additional lengths

Hang subsequent strips edge-to-edge (butt joints), ensuring patterns are matched correctly. Do not overlap.

8. Clean as you go

Wipe away excess paste immediately with a damp sponge to avoid marks on the vinyl surface.
