Overview

Anaglypta Ultra Strong Multipupose Adhesive is designed for hanging most ‘paste the wall’ and traditional wallpapers, it contains synthetic resin for extra bond strength and added moisture resistance.

When mixed with water a blue indicator is activated turning the adhesive a bright blue colour, this allows you to see the adhesive more easily so you can ensure all the wall or the paper is covered correctly. After a brief period, the adhesive will become transparent, and dries clear. If you are in any doubt about the suitability of this adhesive please check with the wallpaper manufacturer.

*not recommended for Wallrock Thermal Liners, Insulators Range, Cosy Liner KV300 or Sound Insulation where Wallrock Thermal Liner Adhesive should be used.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from any loose paint, plaster, dust and mould. Drywall and other absorbent surfaces must be primed and left to dry completely. Priming should be completed at least 4 hours before or longer in non-ideal conditions.

Drying Time

If a paintable wallpaper has been used, ensure the adhesive is fully dried before painting. 24 hours is usually sufficient but a longer time may be required in cold or humid conditions. High room temperatures should be avoided for at least 24 hours as they can lead to wallpaper shrinkage and seam lifting.

Mixing Advice

Establish the correct ratio using the information on the side of the carton. Slowly add the granulated adhesive flakes to the correct amount of cold, clean water while stirring constantly, once the contents of the sachet are mixed, wait for 5 minutes and then stir again. A mixing paddle used in conjunction with a battery powered drill provides quick and consistent results though traditional methods of mixing by hand are perfectly viable. The finished paste should be free of any lumps. The paste is now ready to use. If using ‘Paste the Wall’ technique apply over a big enough area to hang one full length at a time, ensuring the pasted area exceeds the width required. If ‘Pasting the Paper’ please make sure the whole side is covered especially the edges. Ensure any Paste on the surface of the paper is removed with a clean, damp sponge.

Disposal

Dispose of contents/container in accordance with national regulations’.

Keep away from Children and pets. Avoid prolonged skin contact, wash hands with soap and warm water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse copiously with clean water. If irritation persists, seek medical help. Detailed safety information is available on the product page at www.anaglypta.co.uk
