Overview

The icons for Industry were designed in 2008 in response to the installation Farm (ZZM) and the Bavarian collection (Moss). In contrast to the seemingly 'peaceful' farm themes, Industry was very confrontational, with bombs, artillery shells, nuclear power plants, gas masks and missiles. The collection reflects a retrospect of the history of Studio Job. They used archetypical drawings and these universal symbols are combined as iconigraphic elements for patterns, compositions and embossing.
