The bold tonal stripes take inspiration from the fashion of the late 1960s, as well as the landscape in which Newport Pop Festival took place. The textured heavy linen and complementary leather edge piping bring the aesthetic together beautifully in the NEWPORT STRIPES cushion. The front is decorated with a central crest displaying a skull and two red roses hand-embroidered in brass metallic thread on a black felt base, alluding to the counterculture generation and the fight for freedom and love.
